• Discord User ID - We store your Discord ID to identify you within our system.
• Birthday Information - We only store the month and date of your birthday (not the year), which is the minimum required for birthday celebrations.
• Server Information - Discord server IDs where Festie is used.
• Server Settings - Configuration preferences for the bot, including timezone, birthday channel, and message formats.

All collected data is privately stored and is not shared with any third parties. We do not collect or store personal messages, conversations, or any other content from Discord servers beyond what is necessary for the bot's functionality.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely for the purpose of providing the Festie bot service:

• To announce birthdays in your server on the appropriate date
• To configure and customize the bot's behavior per your server's preferences
• To maintain a record of user birthdays for annual celebrations
• To manage blacklisted users (if applicable)

We do not use your data for marketing purposes, nor do we sell or share your information with third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you use Festie in your Discord server. Your personal data is automatically deleted in the following circumstances:

• When you use the /birthday remove command to remove your birthday information
• When you leave a server where you've registered your birthday with Festie
• When Festie is removed from a server, all associated server data and user datais deleted

We maintain only the minimum necessary data required to provide the birthday celebration service.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
